Thank you for visiting wheresluna.  Luna is our pet cocker spaniel and if you know your dog breeds you will know she is a very active dog, which in part has led to this blogging site. We try to find walks that are both good exercise for her and are interesting and offer the opportunity to take some quality photographs. We also like to travel so the conversion of my old work van to a campervan has made this possible. This combination allows us the freedom to explore farther afield with the bonus of a bed for the night. There are a few themes that are associated with this blog and they flow together very well. I have a love of nature and my main hobbies are watercolour painting and photography. I also enjoy the VW camper scene although I prefer the modern van for the comfort and reliability (controversial). Most VW camper owners have modified their vehicle and the common term used on the VW forum is ‘what have you done to your van today’. As you can see from my photos I’ve made a few upgrades. The camper is the travel part of the blog and this year I have plans to explore the Lake District, Peak District, Snowdonia National Park and Scotland. I will be staying part wild camping and motorhome sites to catch up on home comforts. All these areas are perfect for Luna walks and photography. I shall keep you updated with our plans and hope you enjoy reading and viewing our exploits.
